A New Zealand knitting group has been left stunned after being forced to cancel their booking at a Hawke’s Bay bar because knitting is “not the vibe” the establishment wants.
The Knit Knook reserved a table for 12 at Good George Napier Tap House in for a social night of drinking and knitting.
Speaking to the news and talk show Breakfast, the Knit Nook’s Katie Andrews said it was “the most bizarre thing I’ve ever been told". “Which was the most bizarre thing I’ve ever been told. I’ve never been told anywhere that I was not allowed to knit. It just seems such a strange thing to me.”
