A bronze statue honoring legendary Laker Kobe Bryant will reportedly be unveiled in early 2024 outside the Crypto.com Arena.
, also known as Mamba Day, that the statue will be unveiled during a ceremony on February 8, 2024. The day, 2/8/24, will honor Bryant and his daughter, Gigi. Kobe wore two jersey numbers, No. 8 and No. 24, during his 20-year NBA career with the Purple and Gold. His second-oldest daughter Gigi, who was determined to carry his basketball legacy, wore No. 2.
