Aussie young gun Sam Konstas has been involved in another fiery exchange as Jasprit Bumrah picked up a massive wicket on the final ball on Day 1 of the fifth Test at the SCG . Australia had three overs to negotiate at the end of a pulsating day, but opener Usman Khawaja fell on the final ball to spark wild scenes.
India strike after fiery moment. Khawaja and Konstas had been doing their best to delay Bumrah to ensure that his over would be the last of the day. After the fourth ball of the over, Konstas and Bumrah exchanged words with the umpire forced to separate them. And when Bumrah removed Khawaja with the final ball, he quickly turned to celebrate in the face of Konstas, along with other Indians. “There’s a bit going on,” Channel 7 commentator James Brayshaw said.
