The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star explained her look was designed to be an 'unrefined' extension of the rocker's formal attire and was created 'using all of the pieces from his look to create this raw take on a Gilded Age gown using men’s apparel' that included a muslin cummerbund corset and the bustle made of the same material as his jacket.
Kourtney says Thom Brown is one of the Blink-182 drummer's favorite designers, which is why they chose him for their Met Gala outfits. And she revealed that Monday was the first time the designer had dressed a couple. She said she had worked with her hair dresser on several potential styles for the big day. Initial fittings for the gown took place in LA and the final fittings took three hours on the day of the event.
