The Australian boss of consulting giant KPMG says the firm’s record $2 billion in revenue last financial year reinforces that its business divisions are stronger together than apart,

The bulk of KPMG’s revenue came from its consulting and audit, assurance and risk consulting arms, contributing $666 million and $644 million respectively. KPMG’s overall headcount jumped 25 per cent to exceed 12,200 last financial year, while new partner and graduate appointments were also at record levels.
