The pundit couldn't contain his fury as Dynamo Kyiv saw off the Light Blues

It was a bad night for Rangers as they crashed out of the Champions League - and a tough night for Ibrox hero Kris Boyd as he covered the game in the Sky Sports studio.

The turning point in the close contest game as referee Marco Guida controversially handed a second yellow card to Jefte - putting the Scottish Premiership side on the back foot at Hampden as they looked to navigate a route to the group stage of Europe's elite competition. The visitors would take advantage of the extra man as Oleksandr Pikhalyonok and Nazar Voloshyn netted in the last 10 minutes to send the Light Blues crashing out of the Champions League.

And Rangers fan favourite Boyd couldn't hide his fury on TV - with his instant reaction being pulled up on air to both of the late strikes. Dubbed "Boyd-cam" in the studio, the former striker could be loudly seen screaming "no" and throwing his arms in the air as Pikhalyonok found the net. Moments later, Boyd reached boilng point again as substitute Voloshyn found the net - shouting and throwing his pen in the studio.

Following the game, there was a more understated reaction from Boyd - but he was still left baffled by the decision from the man in the middle. He added: "How it is given as a second yellow card is beyond me. He falls to the side - the Dyanmo Kyiv player - and the referee buys it, and it is given as a yellow card.

"I know you can't check a second yellow card - but it is that bad, it's horrendous. But listen, you have got to pick yourself up from that. Rangers had a couple of chances after that, but you kind of got the feeling Rangers could have played all night and not scored. Dynamo hit them on the counter attack and got two goals."
