Recent developments, however, suggest that Rooney may want to taking boxing a little bit more seriously and get in the ring with none other than YouTuber,On Thursday, KSI held a press conference for his upcoming fight with Dillon Danis on January 14 and he revealed that Rooney had messaged him suggesting a fight.
“It’s funny,” KSI said, “I hope he doesn’t get annoyed that I’ve said this, but Wayne Rooney hit me up saying, ‘hey, we should fight.'” With that being said, it appears we won’t be seeing that match up, as KSI turned down the former footballers offer.“I said ‘no’. I just don’t want to do that, but if Wayne Rooney is down it would be good to have him in the space.”
