A gas plant in the NSW town of Kurri Kurri to be built by Snowy Hydro is now “a year behind schedule” and will end up costing more than previously estimated, says Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell.
He said doubts are beginning to circulate around Energy Minister Chris Bowen’s ability to fulfill a
commitment to have the plant “partially fuelled by hydrogen” as his office estimated the new cost to be $765 million.
