Australian radio personality Kyle Sandilands is facing a critical health situation after doctors discovered a second aneurysm in his chest, following a recent brain aneurysm diagnosis. Sandilands, known for his outspoken personality and popular radio show 'The Kyle & Jackie O Show,' is now grappling with the gravity of his condition and the potential life-altering consequences.

Kyle Sandilands has revealed a second aneurysm was discovered in his chest, just days after his shock brain aneurysm diagnosis was announced. This diagnosis could be fatal without intervention, prompting his medical team to stress the need for immediate attention. Sandilands, in response, told his audience to 'lap it up' while they could, as he 'may be dead'. \On Friday, the 53-year-old joined The Kyle & Jackie O Show remotely to share the latest on his health.

When co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson asked about his consultation with a surgeon, Sandilands admitted, 'I left there with more questions than when I went in.' He clarified that his uncertainty wasn't due to the surgeon, whom he described as 'fantastic', but rather the complexity of his condition, uncovered during a CT scan. Adding to his concerns, doctors also discovered another aneurysm in his aorta, requiring separate surgery. \Sandilands also revealed he has severe calcium buildup in his heart, putting him at high risk of a heart attack within five years if untreated. Doctors believe the brain aneurysm may have been present for decades, but its unusual shape complicates treatment. The operation would involve drilling a hole in his skull 'the size of a drinking glass', removing part of the bone, and clipping off the aneurysm with a titanium clamp before stitching him up. 'They will put a titanium bit of clip on the brain where the problem is, and they stitch me up with a plastic surgeon,' he explained, though he admitted even the best surgeon couldn't fully hide the scarring. When asked if he planned to go ahead with the procedure, Sandilands revealed doctors had suggested monitoring the aneurysm rather than operating immediately. He said he would take the weekend to consider his options, as his surgeon warned that patients had 'bled out' from 'much smaller' aneurysms. If it bursts, Sandilands admitted, he could end up 'a vegetable in a chair for the rest of my life or dead'
