Kyle Sandilands' Georgian mansion in Sydney's north-west was expected to fetch $4.9 million at a private auction earlier this week - but it failed to secure a bidder. The Glenorie property, known as the Kingsview Estate, was bought by the radio shock jock, 54, and his wife, Tegan Kynaston, 40, for $3 million in 2022, while Kynaston was pregnant with their son, Otto.
The newly renovated 9580 sqm property, which is just 50 kilometres from Sydney's CBD, features six bedrooms, five bathrooms, and has been described by Kyle as looking"exactly the same" as However, since being put on the market in February with an expectation of fetching $5.9 million, the estate has had its price slashed by $1 million, and has now failed to secure any bids. The invitation-only auction saw few attendees, and those who did turn up were required to sign non-disclosure agreements, as reported by The Daily Telegraph.
“I'm still working on it,” Belle Property’s Carolyn Wheatley told the newspaper as she left the mansion. The unsuccessful auction means the former KIIS FM presenter still has four mortgages to pay for - the Glenorie estate plus properties in Copacabana, the Southern Highlands, andhis legal showdown against ARN "I just want to get back to work or get back earning. I've got a family, I've got mortgages to pay like everyone else," he told reporters in March.
Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson are separately suing ARN for wrongful termination of their $200 million contract. Sandilands and Henderson's trial is scheduled to start on October 12 at the Federal Court.
