The 39-year-old father-of-two, who previously played for the Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks, will be joined by former teammate and recent league retiree Aarons Woods. Speaking on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday, Sandilands said he knew about Beau’s new role because the pair discussed him working for a rival network before the news broke.
He said Beau wanted to avoid upsetting the radio duo when he approached them because he previously filled in for Sandilands on KIIS FM.
