The brouhaha started yesterday when the KIIS FM host said on air that he had slept with Chinese prostitutes in the past and was surprised to discover they had “straight pubes”.today with the headline “Kyle’s vile Chinese slur”. It quoted a spokeswoman from the National Council of Women Australia who said that Kyle’s comments were “appalling”.
“Such a discussion warrants an immediate apology to all women and Sandilands should be taken to task for his behaviour yet again.”Kyle and his co-host Jackie O addressed the criticism on air this morning and said they were surprised it had even made the news. Jackie was surprised the comments had been judged too offensive to publish, saying “it makes it sound like you’ve really gone on the attack”.
