England's Kyle Walker believes that Three Lions boss Lee Carsley was justified in not selecting him for the squad for the forthcoming international fixtures.
The Manchester City defender, who celebrated his birthday in May, earned his 90th cap in the Euro 2024 final against Spain. Notably, Walker did not miss a single minute during the competition as England, runners-up at Euro 2020, once again reached the tournament's climactic match. "Obviously with a new manager and everything like that, you are always expecting a few changes," Walker explained on his BBC podcast 'You'll Never Beat Kyle Walker'. "I'm obviously disappointed because to represent your country is always the highest thing, and especially for England when we are doing so well.", reports the Mirror.
