Kylie Jenner's CFDAs look has a surprising backstory 🖤

The 25-year-old reality TV star and beauty entrepreneur arrived on the white carpet wearing a one-shouldered gown with a completely see-through top and a form-fitting skirt that featured a waist-high slit. An attached arm sleeve made of the same sheer material rounded out the chic ensemble., revealed the inspiration behind the look on her Instagram Stories.
In one frame, she shared a runway image from the Thierry Mugler fall/winter 1999 show, when Jenner's exact look made its original debut. In the next frame, Grandquist posted two side-by-side snapshots of Jenner at the CFDAs, donning the archival look in a manner similar to how it was first presented back in '99. The only exception is that Jenner opted against a chunky diamond necklace, though she stuck with the black pumps and classic updo.
