She's taken a break abroad
Kym Marsh has stated "it's awful here" as she quits the UK for a holiday with her daughter. The BBC Morning Live star, who left Coronation Street three years ago, is soaking up the sun, Birmingham Live reports.
"It's awful here," Kym said as she lay beside the pool. "Just the two of us." She added: "Some quality time with my girl." Kym also promoted daughter Emilie's new song, saying: "And here it is. The Strictly Come Dancing star is with daughter Polly on her holiday, her Instagram photos show. Speaking earlier this month, Pride of Birmingham Awards host Kym's daughter Emilie said she credits her upbringing for opening her eyes to the depth and breadth of the music industry.“Some people are always going to say I’m only in the position I’m in because of who my mum is.
"But I can do those things. Sometimes those skills are in your genes – my mum is an amazing performer – but I am my own person. I’ve worked really hard to get where I am. That’s one of the things I’ve learnt from my mum – nothing comes easy. You have to continually work hard.” “I’d taken a break from music for a little while to have my little boy Teddy and then Covid hit,” she added ahead of her new music being released. She told the Mirror: “But Mum knew I’d never given up my passion.”
