She added: "We will miss you so much mate. Best dog ever. My heart is broken," before adding a broken heart emoji. And it wasn't long before Kym's celebrity pals, followers and fans quickly flooded the comments section with messages of support and their condolences.A couple of days later, the former Coronation Street star broke fans' hearts further when she gave a fresh update on how they were dealing with Barney's loss.
On Wednesday , Kym shared another new update on her heartbreaking loss as she finally got her beloved dog home. Sharing a picture featuring his paw print on a card with a candle burning in his memory, the Morning Live host wrote: "The boy is home….. thank you so much to @vets_now Huyton for taking such good care of my beautiful Barney in his final hours and for treating us as a family with such care and compassion.
Instagram Hollyoaks star Ross Adam was quick to respond to the post, writing: "Oh, Kym. Desperately sad to hear this. Sending you so much love." Morning Live co-star Dr James Greenwood commented: "Sending you so much love darling. It’s the hardest part. Thinking of you and what a happy and beautiful life he had."
