Tennis superstar Nick Kyrgios has responded to abuse allegations from his ex-girlfriend as the world No.40 booked himself a spot in his career-first semi-final against Rafael Nadal at Wimbledon.
The men's world No.40 ranked player showed a dominant - and at times - a shaky display in his quarter-final win against Chilean Cristian Garin in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3, 7-6.
The focus in the past 24 hours has been largely focused on the abuse claim levelled against Kyrgios by his former lover Chiara Passari. The controversial sportsman was forced to respond to questions surrounding the claims in his post-match press conference on Thursday morning. Another journalist then asked Kyrgios of his response to the claims from Ms Passari but he advised he had been told to not comment yet."Obviously, I've been advised by my lawyers I'm unable to say anything at this time. I understand everyone wants to ask about it all but I can't give you too much right now."
