Sky News host Amanda Stoker says Hon Justice Mordecai Bromberg is the most radical, hard-left activist the Federal Court bench has yet seen.

Ms Stoker’s remarks come after Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus appointed Mr Bromberg as President of the Australian Law Reform Commission for a five-year term.Ms Stoker said Mr Dreyfus has given an “important signal” that federal Labor isn’t content to be a mainstream party.

“If this is the kind of activist he would appoint to the Australian Law Reform Commission, just imagine what he will do to the High Court,” she said.
