Former foreign affairs minister Julie Bishop said victories by the so-called teals in seats like Wentworth and Kooyong would lead to "so much soul searching" inside the Liberal Party. The Liberal Party is facing a potential decapitation, with leaders-in-waiting Josh Frydenberg and Peter Dutton both facing immense battles to hang on to their seats.
