Even when Australia has voted to reject becoming a republic, Labor still wants “force it upon us by stealth,” says Sky News host Peta Credlin.
Anthony Albanese was recently pressed on his views about the monarchy during an interview with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan.
“I think you can be a lifelong republican, which I am, and still respect our institutions,” Mr Albanese said. “Much ado about nothing? That’s not right. This was a government making a unilateral decision to drop the sovereign off the banknote, the one and only banknote that featured the Queen,” Ms Credlin said.
