Sir Keir Starmer's government will include package of changes campaigned for by Hillsborough families when it lays out legislative agenda in Parliament next week.
The Labour Party's election-winning manifesto included a commitment to introduce the new measures, named in honour of the 97 Liverpool fans who died at the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, and their families and friends who have campaigned for the new legislation.
Following their landslide victory in last week's general election, Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer and his government are planning to outline their legislative agenda in the House of Commons next week through a King's Speech. The newspaper reports that the speech, which will be delivered by King Charles on Tuesday at the state opening of parliament, will also include a Hillsborough Law.
