How do you manage such a region?I’ve got an incredible leadership team. So obviously, while I’m overseeing a very large region on the West Coast, I have two other presidents who report to me.
And there’s a huge variety of that . Hyper-local communities and the little pockets of neighborhoods that very similar to the other markets that I’m in. That’s why agents who have that hyper-local expertise are such a valuable component, because you can drive 10 miles down the road, and you’re in a completely different world.They both have really unique cultures. But they’re both really dynamic, highly visible markets.
Attracting and retaining the very best talent has always been a driving direction for me. The more you can help someone be successful, the more it helps drive morale and momentum, which is everything in this business.
