A video of a stay at Stonethwaite Farm Campsite near Keswick has gone viral on TikTok. The cut-off mountainside site, which is cash-only and has no phone signal or wif-fi, costs just £8 a night to pitch up your tent and spend the night under the stars. The short nine-second social media video clip uploaded by user joereed9678 has so far racked up a whopping 830.6k views along with 46.8k likes and 16.6k shares. There's also hundreds of comments under the post, which shows the sun setting behind a mountain range backdrop, rugged and rocky terrain in the foreground and dense woodland.
While other commenters appeared to have also stayed at the amazing location. TikTok user evileyecuriosities said: "it's such a brilliant campsite, phenomenal walks, and beautiful views. But shushhhhh don't tell everyone."
