Now both Lamborghini and Porsche have all-terrain super coupes

The Huracan Sterrato was introduced in 2019, using what Lamborghini learned with the creation of the Urus SUV about off-road suspensions and all-wheel drive systems. Like the Huracan EVO it was based on, the Sterrato sports a 5.2-liter V10 making 631 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque. That's all sent though a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

The Sterrato's LDVI controls the vehicle's systems including four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, modified suspension and torque vectoring. Lamborghini says the computer anticipates the next moves of the driver and prepares to react. The LDVI system in Sterrato is modified for off-road driving and tuned to maximize traction in low-grip conditions.

Ground clearance is up by 1.85 inches and its approach and departure angles are improved by 1 percent and 6.5 percent respectively. Those angles are measures of how steep an incline the Lamborghini can ascend. The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato delivers 631 horsepower to all four tires.LamborghiniThe Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato comes with all-terrain tires made for dirt and rocks. The Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato is based on the Huracan EVO, which starts at about $250,000.

The underbody and front frame are reinforced with integrated aluminum, protected by an aluminum bulkhead and with side skirt reinforcements. "It all started from one of the first Huracán prototypes, chassis number 53. My team worked on that car to create a laboratory on wheels, installing off-road solutions with a higher ground clearance. The first time had the chance to drive it I immediately realized how much fun this unexpected super sports concept could be," said Maurizio Reggiani, Lamborghini Motorsport Vice President and former CTO in a press release.
