The charity honours Eilidh MacLeod and supports young musicians across Scotland
Six community music groups from across Lanarkshire are to benefit from this year’s round of funding being issued by the Eilidh’s Trust charity.
The free download features the latest breaking news and exclusive stories, and allows you to customise your page to the sections that matter most to you.Carluke-based Clydesdale Community Concert Band will use their £1000 grant to purchase all the sets of music needed for players in both its senior and junior bands for the next year, and say they are “extremely grateful” for the support.
Successful grant applications were also made by Lanark and district pipe band, Coalburn brass band and Croy silver band.
