Group members are making regular donations in support of Rutherglen & Cambuslang foodbank
Generous slimmers at a Lanarkshire group have been piling up the pounds of loose change to help a local charity.

“Every week we ask members to bring a piece of fruit, vegetables or non-perishable foods – the member with the most weight loss that week gets to take home all the shopping, and recently members have also been donating this to the foodbank. She added: “Being a slimmer doesn’t mean that you have to spend a fortune on food – with costs increasing daily, we help each other with money-saving as most of us are on a budget, and the amount of ideas everyone comes up with is amazing.”
