Lane Restrictions on I-83 in York County

Bridge deck repairs planned between Exits 19 and 22.

PennDOT reminds drivers that around-the-clock lane restrictions are planned for this weekend, Sept. 29 to Oct. 2, on Interstate 83 between Exit 19 and Exit 22 in York County, so a contractor can perform concrete bridge deck repairs and bituminous paving on structures south of Route 30.Weather permitting, work will be performed from 9:00 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, through 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 2.A lane restriction will be in place in both directions of I-83 through the weekend.

This work is associated with a project that includes replacing the Eberts Lane bridge spanning I-83, constructing an additional span to the existing 3-lane, 2-span bridge on Sherman Street spanning I-83 and Mill Creek, approach work, guide rail updates, pavement marking updates, and other miscellaneous construction.
