This season saw the arrival of 5 baby musk oxen and 14 baby reindeer.
Sarah Barcalow, Lead Animal Care Technician at LARS, said, “The Birthday Bash has been something we’ve been doing for decades at this point and we just want to make sure that the Fairbanks community has a time where they don’t have to pay to come to see the animals at LARS - so it’s really a great way for everybody to come out, see the animals, do things with the family, and just enjoy a nice day seeing the animals.
Because parking at LARS is limited, a free shuttle is operating between the Taku parking lot on East Campus and the event.Most Read
