PHOENIX — A large fire involving propane tanks burned Thursday afternoon near 40th and Washington streets.
Ivy Hurtado, who works at a nearby restaurant, believes one of the propane tanks went through her car's windshield. Captain Todd Keller says projectiles were being thrown because of the fire and advised people to avoid the area.
