According to Mobile Police, in Monday, October 23, 2023, at approximately 1:13 a.m., officers attempted to apprehend a subject with multiple outstanding warrants at the 100 block of Randolph Street. Upon arrival, the subject communicated with the officers through the window, and subsequently retrieved a firearm and fired multiple shots at them.
No one was injured. The SWAT team arrived, and, after negotiating with the subject, he exited the residence unarmed and was taken into custody. Clarence White, 43, will be charged with attempted murder, certain persons forbidden, and multiple outstanding warrants.
