A spokeswoman for the Lullaby Trust, said: “Around 400 babies die suddenly and unexpectedly in the UK each year and for around half of these deaths no cause is found.A spokesman for bereavement charity Sands said: “Sadly a great number of neonatal deaths are unexplained.
