New mum quit legal job as baby left her exhausted and now she shares baby sleep tips
A Yorkshire mum has traded in her life in the courtroom to help mums struggling from sleep deprivation after having a baby.
Lauren was a lawyer for 15 years before she had her son Harry, who is now 6, and like a lot of babies, Harry had sleep issues which were so bad Lauren felt unable to return to work and it left her feeling like a failure, and lost a lot of her self confidence. "By the end of my maternity I was still up several times a night with Harry and ultimately I didn't go back to work at the end of my maternity leave. At the time I thought this was a practical consideration considering I was a courtroom based lawyer and would fundamentally impact lives and I didn't know what day of the week it was.
The family moved from east Leeds to the countryside in Craven near Skipton, where she built her business which helps families all over the word from her 'little cottage in North Yorkshire.'
