Lea Michele has shared a wonderful tribute to Cory Monteith to commemorate nine years since his death.

Lea and Cory were in a relationship at the time of his death; he died at the age of 31 after a drug overdose in a Vancouver hotel. The show was still on air and it paid tribute to Cory with an episode that began with the news that his character Finn had died, and followed through with the characters remembering and honoring him.In the April before his death Cory voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction.
The couple had taken their romance public a year earlier and were often spotted together at ice hockey games.Lea's latest tribute comes after she celebrated big news, revealing that she would be replacing Beanie Feldstein in the Broadway revival of Funny Girl.
