“An unauthorized third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto,” the company wrote. The clips show a number of details likely to make the final cut of the game. The female lead character, named Lucia, is seen in a number of situations including taking hostages during a robbery.
Rockstar Games says that it’ll continue working on GTA VI and that it “will update everyone again soon and, of course, will properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready.” We don’t expect the game itself to go on sale for at least another year.
