Lebanon man arrested for failed robbery at Weis Markets: policeLEBANON COUNTY, Pa. —On Saturday, Oct. 28, local authorities were called to respond to reports of a robbery attempt at Weis Markets, 901 East Main Street in Palmyra.
Upon arrival, they discovered that the suspect had "demanded money from a cashier and threatened to stab the cashier if they failed to comply." The robbery suspect subsequently fled the store without receiving any money. He was wearing sunglasses and a large black cloth tied around his face in an attempt to conceal his identity.
Authorities say that during the course of the investigation, "it was determined that Mark S. Herrick was the individual that committed the robbery."He was arrested Tuesday and denied bail during an arraignment with District Judge Carl Garver Wednesday, Nov. 1.
