The festival will see buildings and areas across Leeds lit up by the exhibitions
The Leeds Light Night Festival is heading back to the city next month with displays planned across the city.
Now, the council have released some details of the displays as more than 50 will be put in place across Leeds. This marks the 19th editions of the festival and it will have the theme 'Future Dreaming'.Arrests made after Belle Isle 'blood bath' fight as metal spikes used during nasty attackOne design will be called "Evanescent" and will be in place by Leeds Dock and the Royal Armouries.
Trinity Leeds will see a performance called 'Portals' by Yorkshire Circus with an acrobatic performance within a lit-up wheel. There will also be an installation co-produced by the British Library called the 'Enchanted Glade' which is designed to go back-in-time to the ancient forest of Leodis. The council is also working to make sure the event is energy efficient. Councillor Jonathan Pryor, Leeds City Council’s deputy leader and executive member for economy, culture and education, said: "The stunning spectacle of Light Night is always one of the most anticipated occasions in our city’s events calendar, bringing tens of thousands of people together to enjoy a unique and unforgettable experience.
