A mixed day of sunshine and showers is forecast for Leeds on Thursday ahead of what is predicted to be dismal end to the week.
Temperatures remain mild with temperatures beginning around 12C and hitting highs of 19C. Some rain is a expected in the early hours of Friday and there will be showers for the rest of the day.The Met Office forecast for Yorkshire on Friday said: "Fine and bright to start Thursday. Cloud thickening through the afternoon ahead of a band of patchy rain, effecting southern and western areas by dusk continuing to push north-eastward overnight. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Leeds A bight start in the city first thing with some sunshine expected between 7am and 9am. Some cloud cover is expected to follow with sunny intervals lasting until noon. Some rain showers are then expected from 10pm onwards and into the early hours of Friday. Temperatures starting around 12C first thing in the morning and rising to 17C around noon.
