Leeds pub's boss admits he 'made a mistake'
A pub in Leeds has made a public apology after they received criticism for their April Fools' Day joke.
The joke did not go down well with people and the post was deleted by the pub. Later on, they put out an apology, which read: "This mornings post was intended an Aprils fools joke. We deleted it as it caused offence to people. In addition, the manager of Myrtle Tavern Meanwood, Scott Westlake, said: "I personally would like to apologise, as a member of the LGBT community, I should have known better, and in a moment of stupidity shouldn't have made a joke about this.
