They've visited the team at the famous Leeds restaurant
Prashad, which specialises in vegetarian cuisine and shot to fame on Gordon Ramsay TV show Ramsay’s Best Restaurant, first launched in Bradford before moving to its home in Drighlington, in Leeds, back in 2012. TV chefs Si King and Dave Myers, better known as the Hairy Bikers, paid the venue a visit for their new series Hairy Bikers Go Local.
“We were so excited to be invited on to the show, and chosen to represent Yorkshire” said Bobby Patel. “Being able to share our Gujarati food with people is such a gift, and to have it recognised again, by two chefs we really admire, is a testament to the hard work of Minal and the team.” Dave said: “I haven't been too well recently and basically, I've got to have some chemo, you know all this anyway, so this year is going to be a bit quiet for me, I'm not going to be filming, some of the festivals I'm not going to be able to go to, some may be okay but this year's a bit of a write off for us."
