Leeds United are facing a decisive summer of transfer business with a host of players linked away and key deals to be done to strengthen the squad
For the second successive summer, Leeds United are preparing to enter a difficult period, with the ramifications having a major say on next season and beyond. Much has been made of the fact the Whites owe close to £190m in payments for previous transfer business, with around £70m of that due in the coming weeks as the next instalments kick in.
Crysencio Summerville Transfer speculation comes with the territory of being the Championship player of the season. This is not just wild speculation, however, Leeds' top scorer is in high demand with as many as five Premier League linked with the Dutchman. Liverpool have long been seen as the favourites to secure the services of the 22-year-old, thanks in some part to new manager Arne Slot being a fellow countryman and known admirer.
Archie Gray Arsenal and Bayern Munich are now being linked, alongside long-time admirers Liverpool, with a potential move for the 18-year-old this summer. Gray still has four years to run on a new contract only signed back in January, but his stock has risen even more since then and he's currently seen as one of the best teenagers in English football.
Joe Rodon Leeds United have not given up hope of keeping hold of Joe Rodon despite their failure to secure promotion to the Premier League, however that hope has rescinded with the news a number of Premier League clubs are showing an interest in signing the Tottenham Hotspur player. Jack Harrison Everton appear willing to strike a permanent deal for a player who they took on loan a year ago after Leeds United crashed out the Premier League. Harrison has no ambition to play in the Championship and has made it clear he'd like to stay at Everton, with the Toffees thought to be interested in striking a deal with the Whites.
