Football Insider has been told by Kieran Maguire that Leeds United have the 'flexibilty' to spend big in January to launch a promotion push this season.
Leeds United have the funds to improve their squad in January and launch a ‘promotion charge’ after cutting their wage bill this summer.about the comments made by Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear.in September, where he revealed that the Yorkshire club has cut £40million from their wage bill during the summer transfer window.
Maguire admitted that Kinnear’s comments ‘surprised’ him, but believes the wage cut has given Leeds enough financial ‘flexibility’ in January to bring in new signings.
