Luis Sinisterra scored his first goal of the season last weekend in the 4-3 win over Ipswich Town
Leeds United are facing a battle to keep hold of Luis Sinisterra during the final few hours of transfer deadline day, it seems. According to Mike McGrath of the Daily Telegraph, Premier League outfit Bournemouth have made a loan bid for the United winger, with reports of interest from other clubs cropping up as well.
Leeds, though, would love to keep hold of the Colombia international, who showcased his eye-catching ability last weekend with a goal in the club’s 4-3 win over Ipswich Town. The interest comes in spite of Daniel Farke’s confidence this afternoon that Leeds would be able to fight off interest of their star names in Sinisterra, Wilfried Gnonto and Crysencio Summerville.
Sinisterra joined Leeds United last summer from Feyenoord for a fee in the region of £20million and although he struggled with injuries last season, he still went on to score seven goals in all competitions. He had made just two league appearances this season, due to the aforementioned legal battle, but he has started the season in red hot form.
