Clive Wallwark, who runs Clive’s Barbers on Abbey Street, Accrington, picked up his pair of scissors for the final time last Friday after 52 years of cutting hair in Hyndburn, Padiham, Haslingden and Blackburn.
“The best part of my job is talking to people. I have seen generations of families grow up and come through my shop. Clive rented a place on Back Abbey Street in 1979 until 1981 for his business ‘Hair Clive’s Way’.
