A look at how Leicester City's injury situation is panning out ahead of Friday night's heavyweight showdown
Leicester City are set to be bolstered by the return of Turkey international Yunus Akgun for his side's visit of Leeds United on Friday night. The attacking midfielder has been absent for the Foxes last two matches after being forced off in the win over Swansea City.
Akgun's availability will hand Maresca further attacking options, as does the return of Kasey McAteer, who came off the bench during the win over QPR at the weekend to make his first appearance for four weeks since injuring his hamstring against Blackburn.But it looks like the Leeds match will come too soon for Leicester's summer signing Tom Cannon, who is yet to play since his £7.5million move from Everton in the summer.
“He needs time to understand the way we want to play. Even if he’s joined our meetings and everything. He needs to come back to get fit and he needs time because it was a long, long injury.”
