By the end of regulation time, the score was deemed tied – even though Mentor’s Rhinos believed they had claimed victory.England netball great Tamsin Greenway described the moment as a “huge controversy”.“I don’t think we are a game for VAR. There’s nothing like that so we are going to have to look at it.”The Rhinos took the result of the match to an appeal – but were denied an overturning of the result.
