East Bay Times Letters to the Editor for Nov. 2, 2022

Evan Branning and I serve together on Livermore’s Planning Commission. Evan has been an outstanding Planning Commissioner. He is informed, thoughtful and independent and does his homework. Now he is the only council member candidate that has experience in Livermore’s governance. This is important since on-the-job training at the City Council level can be extremely costly in terms of impacts on both money and responsible city planning.

Evan is committed to maintaining Livermore’s community character, excellent quality of life and working for the benefit of all of its residents. With no incumbents on the ballot, a new city manager and General Plan, and a looming recession, experience is critical. When placing your vote for council in District 1 please consider Livermore’s future and vote for Evan Branning for Livermore City Council. Please join me in voting for Jean Josey for Dublin City Council.

I have served alongside Jean on the DUSD-City Liaison Committee for several years. Jean is a strong supporter of Dublin schools and consistently demonstrates her commitment to working together. She listens and is responsive, thoughtful and always looking for common ground as we develop solutions that benefit students and all of Dublin.Jean Josey is the experienced leader we need on Dublin City Council. Join me in voting for Jean Josey for Dublin City Council.
