Over the course of five days, I progressed from double vision to losing spatial reasoning while driving and to walking into walls at work.
I am fortunate because I have decent insurance, but I can’t help thinking about the people who aren’t as fortunate as I am. Something must be done to lower prescription drug prices in this country. I serve as a volunteer with the National MS Society to try to advocate for lower drug costs. We need constituents to contact Sens. Crime is rampant in these areas, and the most upsetting of all are the loud parties from sundown to sunup. The noise can be heard for a half mile in any direction. My crime watch group had requested a return of state troopers to assist only on the weekends, but this idea was shot down by a liaison officer who said they were not needed.
Yet here we are, stuck in rewind-repeat mode, lacking the political resolve to remove these vehicles of mass murder from our streets. To those who profess uncompromising fealty to the Second Amendment, since apparently the lives of innocent children don’t matter: Did it ever occur to you that you could be next?As a veteran, I am well acquainted with the AR-15 from my time in the infantry.
