I worked a few elections and election judges took all alleged violations seriously, elevating them to the county election judge as necessary. Do we want the Texas Department of Public Safety offices to have “power to issue commands to local election administrators to halt any conduct they ‘believe’ violates the law, initiate investigations and make arrests?”

And our Constitution clearly demands a separation of church and state. We should all stand up against this bill and demand that no bill passed by these Christian nationalists be allowed to stand. More dead or seriously injured children every day. Wrong house, wrong driveway, wrong car, wrong yard. A simple mistake can lead our children or grandchildren to death.

Spring migration is a remarkable natural phenomenon in which over a billion birds travel through Texas from South America to northern states and Canada. However, the bright lights of our cities can disorient these birds and cause them to fly off course, putting them at risk of collisions with buildings and ultimately death. “Lights Out Nights” comes in to protect these feathered friends.
