Ms. Floyd’s Sunday column regarding her grief on the passing of her husband was as touching, introspective and poignant as anything I’ve read in many years. In the current age, when so many rational values have been discarded and replaced with dishonesty, deception and foolishness, and when Europe is again inflamed with war and autocrats who seemingly misgovern more and more countries, de Vinck reminds us again with his thoughtful essay about one of life’s greatest treasures.Re: “Arkansas family still relives guns-drawn stop — Officer incorrectly entered information, which led to mistake,” Sunday Metro story.
