Having stolen Bruce Wayne's Batman Inc. out from under him, Lex Luthor now has his own Bat-Family and armored suit. But while Lex is a villain, he's also a genius, and his suit includes one upgrade Batman himself never considered.
Lex Luthor is showing off his own Batsuit, which features a considerable upgrade Batman hasn't thought of. In Batman #120, the supervillain reveals he built the Dark Knight a Batsuit in case he took his offer to join Batman Inc. Luthor wears the Batman suit himself and shows off a feature that allows him to activate it with a click of the button, revealing his armor under his clothes.
In the current Batman ongoing series at DC Comics, Lex Luthor has acquired Batman Inc. after Bruce Wayne abandoned the team. The hero learns the team was arrested for the murder of the villain Abyss, who is really still alive. The new bad guy poisoned Batman, blinding him with darkness. As Batman tries to stop the villain, Lex Luthor flexes his financial prowess as he continues to control Batman Inc. and decides to take a new Batsuit out for a spin himself.
Luthor ends up tracking down Batman as he breaks out Batman Inc. from jail. However, he reveals that he barely escaped Abyss and it was their plan all along to get them together. Luthor tells Batman the only hope of stopping Abyss is working for him. That's when Batman Inc reveals Luthor might have funded the team, but they work for Abyss. They offer Batman a spot on the team and want him to help kill Luthor.
It's highly unlikely Batman will accept Batman Inc. and Abyss' offer to join them and kill Luthor. But, the Dark Knight has to wonder how he's supposed to stop the supervillain now that he's using his own Batsuit - with an upgrade he never thought of - and wants him to work under him. Batman will need to figure out a way to stop Luthor and Batman Inc. without any casualties. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor seems to care more about being Batman than working with him or stopping Batman Inc.
